widget settings page

Hi everyone,

I am new to the product and forum, I would like to ask if anyone may know how to do this:
I created a widget and that works fine but I want to be able to set some parameters for the widget through a seperate settings page, e.g. by a long press maybe or by pressing the Android's device menu key... is this possible?

Is it an activity to start?

You can use a button in the widget and call StartActivity from the widget service.

Note that the settings must be saved in a file. Otherwise they will get lost when the process is killed.

Thanks for that, seems to work. weird thing is that it was working, I closed basic4android and the emulator, went back in later and now it is not starting the activity, will check why.
