dialogCornerRadius belongs to API 28. Take a look a path to android.jar. Guess you take it from platform 27 or less.

android.jar platform 28 did the trick. We can no longer use anything below platform 28??

You need to use android.jar from platform 28. It doesn't affect the compiled app.
