I might pay $1000 for a single-year "subscription" if:
1) I get to download and use as many of their SDK's as I want
2) The SDK's are royalty free to use (even after the year is over)
2) After the year ends, I can still use the version of the SDK's I downloaded during the year in as many of my apps as I want.
i like the ASPOSE products they are very easy to work with and very reliable, i have used them because the company where i worked had some licenses (pretty sure these were pirated) the price is so steep that for me is like they do not even exists
I am not saying that they are not worth it, i think they are but is like trying to invite the queen of the prompt to dance.
It depends on the business case, the question doesn't contain enough information for me.
However, if it was rephrased as "Can you imagine a situation where it would be reasonable to buy a SDK priced at over $1000 per year?" then I would answer yes.
My guess is that many of the members and B4X users are from countries where the G.Almighty Dollar exchange rate is simply prohibitive (current rate here would mean 17,000 +- in local currency - PER SDK).
On the basis on which most / many / all of us work - there simply couldn't be a business case - if there was - you're not in this league you're in a corporate.
