Good Day.
I know that Microsoft has a version of Remote Desktop that connects from Droids. It works quite well, certainly better than Team Viewer. I know if I put a mini FTP Server on the desktop I can grab files but is there any way for it work in reverse whereby the desktop puts a file on the Droid?
- Implement Firebase Messaging in your Android App.
- Send a Pushnotification to Android Device with the Filename(and Path)
- In Android you receive the Pushnotification, extract the Filename (and Path) from the Pushnotification and then connect to the FTP on PC and download the File.
It is very simple to add a FTP server to your Android app. You will then be able to copy files with Windows Explorer (as done with B4A-Bridge and Tools - B4A-Bridge - File Explorer).

Given the type of implementation which is a music store in the middle of the Canadian Prairies a thousand km from anywhere , this will work. Most thanks for the idea.
