I have a 'Personal' account (not company) in google play, now google (by European legislation) requires that I fill out a form depending on the type of account, as long as this form is not covered, payments are withheld:
But among the options there is not the type of account 'Personal', it has to be a company or association, Can't I sell apps without being a company? Is there a solution?
Third option of the link you posted seems to be the right one: an individual company.
I think it's due to some taxation regulation. Anyway, even if an individual company is different from a mere individual (in legal terms) both should have a means of unique identification (like a VAT code or personal code).
Maybe you could contact them specifying your country and asking them how to proceed. Recently I had to contact their support for Firebase update and they responded promptly, kindly and remained in contact until the case was solved.
^^Correct^^. Sole trader will be the best description for an individual trading as themselves. In the UK it means you are trading on your own behalf and subject only to personal income tax, and possibly, but unlikely, VAT.
Individual company is different from individual. I am saying this because this week i am gonna start and individual company and needs some procedure to be done. I would ask google first...
