iOS Question Xcode versions

hi

my macmini always tells me to update xcode (and other stuff)
but i am always unsure if i should do it because it may make me some problems with b4i and/or b4i 3rd party libraries.

how should we know if it is safe to update xcode??

so is it safe to update xcode to v9.2?

could there be a section in this forum that will provide that information like what xcode b4i is compatible with and if we should update xcode or not update it?

BTW, updating Xcode is always safe as you can later install other (older) versions of Xcode if needed.

You can select the default version with xcode-select. B4i builder uses the default version.
