Many developers (about 82K b4x members), very few gains; this is sure and I guess this will be so in the future. Indeed, this will get worse in the future.

If you want to earn, you have to develop tools for developers and let them dreaming. This is cynical but it is reality.

[P.S. BTW, b4x developers did not like my tools, then they are also not so smart :p]

i didnot knew that you have all those statistics about all b4x members.

sorry, but this is ugly to say.

b4x developers did not like my tools, then they are also not so smart

or your tools are not smart enough for us not smart developers.

have you noticed that you always are pessimistic about success in developing but the truth is that everybody here is doing his thing and code not only for
money also for fun since most here also got a job.

like in every proffesion there are people that success and other that not. the question is how much do you really want to success and how much will you invest in your dreams.

dreams are the best motivation for hard work that one day will maybe bring success.
for me success is not only a blowed up account balance.
if i see people that thank me for creating the tool i did and how much it helps them in daily life then i am happy and this is success for me.

but i know that this conversation will follow to no where and maybe i should not response but it is what i think.

:p = "I'm kidding"

As hobby this is a hard hobby, not a fun one. "This is my hobby" often is a false truth.

This is true, though perhaps I would prefer to say "realistic".

it's not if they don't post positive earning results that they didn't have any.

there are a lot of readers here which doesn't mean they didn't earn with what they've made.

fact is that if you don't publish anything the earning counter might stay on 0 unless people donate here for you.

you will also find a lot of bragging about people earning thousands aswell if you search for RPM values and not everyone who earns that much is coming out for it.

as said before by the forum users here it's a combination of...

luck
"uniqueness" of app
returning users (keep using or keep playing the app)
hoping that they click some ads aswell as views alone doen't make much
make your app payable with the risk that most "viewers" just ignore it

One true thing is: Successful developers don't talk about their profitable apps. Why? Because they don't want you clone their app and (most of all) they don't have time to talk about it.
Believe it or not, I know many developers in my country earning 10k-20k$/month by their apps and games.

You can sit there, keep complaining about the "gloomy future". Everything will be the same with people who Do Nothing.

Remember, its not all about money. Money pays my bills but coding makes me happy
Best thing I read today! Thanks! :)
