I am newer than new with B4A and still working my way through the Beginners Guide with the Trial download. I am working with the SecondProgram example, tweaking it to try out things. I have reached the stage of trying to fit it to real devices and need to Autoscale. I have read everything I can find, Beginners guide, Designer Scripts & AutoScale Tutorial and lots of other Q&A in the forum. Some documentation describes Designer Scripts for the designer, some describes using the main code area. Example code assumes the reader knows what the code is doing.
Can anyone give me a "step by step" explanation [please assume that I am really dumb] of how to acheive this, for example in the SecondProgram code.
