Ability to use DownloadManager?

Is there a way we can access the built in download manager through B4A at the moment?

ie. DownloadManager | Android Developers

i'm writing a little music download tool (for fun) and would be much easier being able to palm of the hard work to this then doing the http get myself (incase of connection failiure, resuming, working out/calculating download time, # bytes downloaded etc.. .)

+1! Download Manager will be very useful.

The DownloadManager is only available on Android 2.3 devices. So unless you are targeting these devices only it will not be too useful.
