Wish abstract designer - pan with direct iteraction

In the abstract designer, it would be great to add a more direct way to pan the layout by doing one or more of the following:

• space + left mouse (as used in many drawing apps)
• right-mouse drag (as used in Miro, etc.)
• left-mouse drag outside activity?
• etc.

Right now, I have to use the D-pad element, which is indirect and not proportional. It works, but it feels clunky.

Shift + arrows is equivalent to the d-pad element
