Android Question activity_resume question

Hello,

I have a little problem. I want to show ads when the user launchs back app. When the user launchs back app , activity resume triggers
If i put showad under activity_resume then when showing the ad , activity enters into activity_pause than when the showing ad finishes it goes back to activity _resume so after showing ad ends new ad comes and this go to infinite.

I cant seperate it. If i dont put showad under activity_resume then i cant show ad when the user closes app than for example after 10 minutes come back to app.

What can i do to fix it ?

Store the last time you showed an ad in a process global variable (Long variable).

Sub Activity_Resume
 If StoredDate + 10 * DateTime.TicksPerMinute < DateTime.Now Then
  StoredDate = DateTime.Now
  'Show ad
 End If
