Android Question Add a Colored Shadow (or Glow) to a panel

Hi everyone, i looked in the forum already. Maybe with the new updates now it's possible.
How can i achieve a glow/colored shadow effect? Like this:

You can add a shadow by setting the elevation. It can be done with the designer or programmatically.

However it will not look exactly like this effect.

I wouldn't be that difficult to make a custom control consisting of an outer panel and an inner panel (the inner panel would be the container for your edittext or button or whatever).
