Hi All,
This my first attempt at B4J. It is a port of an Android App of the same name.
Antenna Bearing Tool is a simple tool with its primary function to show the direction a “Basestation Transmitter Site” [BTS] antenna should be aimed using known land marks instead of using a magnetic compass. The land mark must be visible and identifiable from the BTS.
NOTE: [BTS = Cell Phone Tower]
I have asked many [dumb] questions and received a great deal of help during this development. Many thanks to the following for their patient assistance:
Roycefer, eurojam, specci48, Cableguy, DonManfred, jmon, rwblinn and as usual Erel.
As the replies to these question hold a wealth of information for the newbie B4J developer I added a PDF of the questions and linked them to the relevant thread.
I tried to find somewhere public to upload the Installer but failed.
Upload.com is geared for commercial developers and requires a developer web site. Not me.
When I went to pay the joining fee to register with "Windows Store" PayPal didn't show an amount, but a declaration that Microsoft would apply the correct amount for this and future transactions. In other words a blank cheque.
I continue to look for somewhere to publish.
Regards Roger
EDIT 6 Feb 2016:
I have established a Web Site using SimpleSite.com. Set up was quite painless and a good result. This allowed me to publish on Upload.com fairly easily.
