I had this problem yesterday. I needed to send a report that was on my smartphone. I plugged the usb cable into the desktop pc and for a long time I didn't understand why my notebook didn't recognize the smartphone.
NO Never Ever . . . I prefer to end my days and spend two hours at 2AM trying to realise the difference between

someone said in another thread the other day : its the simple ones that find it easiest to elude/evade one

I Found The Darn Semi-Colon! Yay For Once !! - oops wrong language . . . .
My server side stuff is in PHP ( uses . for concatenation ), while the apps are all in B4X ( & ) , and the web front-end uses a ton of JavaScript ( + ). If I've been working on all three in the same day, it's almost inevitable some string somewhere is going to get badly messed up, or throw an error, because of this.
A scientist took a fly and cut off his legs and shouted "fly!" and the fly flew away, he recorded the results. He cut the fly's wings and shouted "fly!" and the fly didn't move. The scientist put down in the conclusion that a fly with no wings a no legs loses his hearing.
I reach such conclusions several times a day.
I tried to move the mouse pointer to login my laptop once I reached office and found out the USB has not yet plugged in. It only happen to me because all other colleagues already using wireless mouse.
we get sick with "anxiety and depresion" it is a real medical condition... so yes... beside bugs with have to deal with that...also.. don't forget we are PROBLEM SOLVERS... real heroes of an unreal world
