APK error

Hello,

I made an APK, signed it and uploaded it into my company's website so my clients will be able to download and install it.

During file download, I am getting the message "Download unsuccessful".
Please note that the APK is good while using a USB cable.

Any idea what should I do so my clients will be able to download and install the APK?

I believe the .apk needs to be a registered on the server as a valid mime file type.

Thank you for your replies.

The mime file type is set like this on my server:
application/vnd.android.package-archive apk

As for the other comment - if I use a USB cable the apk is being installed on the client's tablet without any problem, only from the web it fails.
