B4J Question App B4J 8.90 run it in a MAC

Hi I have an app written with B4J 8.90 on windows 10 and it works fine now I would like to run it in a MAC java 8 update 281, do you recommend?

I think someone asked me more or less the same thing but for Windows.

In Windows, in order to run the jar, I think it is necessary that there is a system variable that points to the java 8 path. In my PC:

I suppose there is something similar in Mac too.

Or (Windows) use a bat file (still using java 8).


Sorry if I wrote nonsense, I've only seen Macs in photos ?

I recommend B4Jpackager11. It includes all necessary java stuff in one container. So your app will run on any Mac independently of whether Java is installed or not.
You can use Platypus to pack your app as a standalone Mac app with its own icon. If you want to distribute your Mac App through the internet, then you need to sign it.
