Android Question App icon on desktop after installation

Is there a way to force this?
When installing the app de icon disappears in the list of others apps. However we would like to force the icon directly to the destop of android.

The User decides if a app is placed on the Desk or not.

I do have an Setting in my Launcher (Nova Launcher) to automatically add new Apps to the Desktop.
The user may decide NOT to do this.

You can not force it programatically as far as i know.

Why?

Don't know why. My Xiaomi Mi9 has no list with apps. Every new app is placed on the desktop (which can result in a lot op "pages").
A few test phones do have a list which can be accesed if you swipe up. If you've got a lot of apps it is difficult to find the right app (dummy users ).

Therefor we would like to force the app to set its icon on the desktop.

You can not force it programatically as far as i know.

Perhaps someone else who can help us both?

This is a setting in Google Play. The shortcut will be added automatically when the user installs your app from Google Play if the user didn't disable this option.

You can add a dynamic or pinned shortcut when your app starts.
