B4R Question Arduino Co-processor: ATmega32u4

Friends I'm trying to enter the world of la Latte panda where it uses window 10 and incorporates an Arduino Co-processor ATmega32u4, which I read in a post so I read I can use this type of processor. Some update is necessary to see it displayed on the Arduino ID or just take the Arduino Leonardo card, or Arduino Leonardo ETH.
I am new to this area so I appreciate any help you can give me, Any example will be very helpful, Thank you

Generally it's used as a rs232/usb converter. Think of it as a Black box. I wouldn't try to reprogram it.
