Android Question Auto-Connect to Bluetooth Device

Wow!
I've searched this forum and found a few snippets of conversations regarding Bluetooth and Services.
I would like to auto-connect to a bluetooth device that is paired with my phone when it is in range.
I'm thinking a timed service is used to wake up and scan if the bluetooth is in range and auto-connects.
any help with generic code is greatly appreciated. I see some partial code on the forum, but unable to get the basic idea to work.

You need to call BluetoothAdmin.StartDiscovery and handle the DiscoveryFinished and DeviceFound events.

Once you find a device you can connect to it with Serial object.

I understand I must call those functions, however, I am at a loss trying to place the code in a correct sequence to work.
I will continue to search the four months again.
