Android Question Auto install from wifi download

I have set up a small wifi server which the android devices can upload and download things.
When I make a new version of the App which does this (Fault logger - logs faults and sends them to the server) I would like it to load onto the device and install itself.

Is this possible?

(without having to go look for the apk file that was loaded to the device and opening it manually)

Save the apk file on File.DirDefaultExternal and send the "install" intent.
