B4J Question AutoComplete in a textfield

I refer to this autocomplete example:

It's a little bit strange: When I type "b" then the list will start with cities containing "b" (e. g. Aberdeen, Abu Dhabi), rather than with cities which have "b" as first letter.

Is this the intended behavior of autocompletion?

Fortunately, the AutoCompleteEditText view in B4A works in a different way.

The b4j version depends on ControlsFX Package. the behaviour is probably defined by ControlsFX

I wouldn't use it.

Better options:
- [B4X] [XUI] - MiniSearchView AutoComplete field
- SearchView: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/custom-view-searchview.82007/#content
- B4XSearchTemplate with B4XDialog

All of these will show prefix matches first.
