AVD Stuck on Android Screen

This is a common problem with the Android emulator.
Delete it and create a new one. It usually solves this issue.

Generally speaking I recommend you to use a real device for development and an emulator for designing.

I have deleted and redone the AVD Multiple times

Don't have a real droid yet, just learning.

Will be getting the Motorola Bionic

I know I am replying very late, but this is how I fixed mine. I started eclipse, developed a small application, and clicked start. Then go to LogCat, and when you start getting errors, go to task manager and kill adb.exe while it is running. LogCat will show errors, but your device should start. Hope I helped
