This is not really a tutorial but an informative post that I thought would be of some interest to the community.......
I have been using appetize.io for testing my B4A and B4I Apps and I really like what it provides for free. You can find several posts here on appetize.io. For those of you who are not familiar with this online emulator, all you need to do is upload your APK or IPA file, select your device and OS version and run a real-time emulaton of your phone running on the device. Check it out if you have not. It's pretty neat and handy to have for testing.
Well, recently I was testing an Android App with appetize.io and I discovered that unfortunately it does not support push notifications. At least not on Android. Not sure about iOS but I would assume it would be the same. So if you want to test your App's push notifications, this would not be a good choice.
I did find another site that is comparable to appetize.io but also emulates push notifications. Check out: https://applive.lambdatest.com/
The free account gives you ample devices and OS versions to test out your App - both iOS and Android. Only issue with it is that the free account gives you a very limited amount of time to test out your app before it asks you to sign-up for the paid account. So you need to be quick. Check it out!
