We did previously offer a free upgrade for those who bought the Basic4Android book, but, as you say, this offer has now expired.

I have purchased the Amazon Kindle version earlier, but when I go to "Manage your Kindle Content" some of my other e-books have the "Update" button available, however, your book has no "Update" button and I can still see the 2013 version in my library.
How do I upgrade to the latest version??

It depends whether you bought the old version of the book (Basic4Android) or the new version (B4A) which covers version 5.20.
The B4A book should be automatically updated on Kindle. The Basic4Android book, which covered version 4, is no longer being updated since it has been superceeded by the new book.
Hope this clarifies the situation.
