Android Question B4AGraphView - EdgeEffectCompat

I've been using the B4AGraphview library for a long time now. Suddenly, a problem and can't find the solution on the internet.

Compiling and running my app or the B4AGraphview example provided, generates the error:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Failed resolution of: Landroid/support/v4/widget/EdgeEffectCompat;

With hours passing and no sight of solving it, I've done a complete re-installation of Java, Android SDK and B4A as per instructions. Now running jdk1.8.0_251, B4A v9.80 and checked the Android SDK in B4A and unfortunately, no success:

Ok, thanks, moved Graphview jar and xml to additional lib folder and Jetified. Removed existing AppCompat in Additional lib folder and replaced with new'AppCompatLib4_00.zip' files, un-Jetified
Just tried, in the library manager, un-checked and re-checked both AppCompat and B4AGraphview to confirm they are referencing the right locations
and ...urrgh, failed

i dont know what you are doing (maybe) wrong.

Can you give me your AnyDesk ID so i could connect to your pc trying to setup the SDK new for you.
Please download the two zips needed in beforehand.

I need to go to the barbier at 6pm but i´m back in around 1.5-2 hours.

Moved the B4Agraphview library to the additional libraries location and Jetified it. Replaced the AppCompat files with fresh from the Zip file. Uurrgh,..still not working

The issue is solved. We reinstalled everything from scratch. It is now working.

Issue solved.

PS @PhilipK thank you very much for your Donation. I´ll investigate it in a Cinema-Ticket and Popcorn when i visit cinema next time (? ) . Hopefully soon as we can not go to Cinema since months now :-( (damned corona)
