iOS Question B4I - Release App locked on "waiting for IDE to connect to B4I- Bridge"

Good morning,

I've got a B4I App which was working sooner on IOS (Iphone and Tab).
I had to renew both certificates and provision profiles.
Since then, I'm not able to release app, after some actions, the release was successfull in B4I log but the application is not installed on the iphone.
The try is running without end.

We had a 2years licence but still use B4I 8.
I didn't have the link to install B4I 10 version so we renew our licence for 2 years.
Then, I installed the B4I 10 version and launch it being sure that it was on the good version.

Now, I still have the same issue.
It doesn't work on the local build mac (which I upgrade into the 10 version too).
With the hosted build, I've got :
  • On the phone : "waiting for IDE to connect to B4I- Bridge"
  • On B4I :
    B4X:
    B4i Version : 10.00

Application compilée avec 'non-store provision profile'.
    Terminé avec succès.
    Assurez-vous que B4i-Bridge est lancé (192.0.0.2).
    Lancer manuellement l'application après l'installation.

    Could you please help ?
    Best regards

It looks like your app was compiled with a non‑store provisioning profile. That type of profile is only meant for testing with B4i‑Bridge, so when you launch the app it waits for the IDE connection.

If you want the app to run independently (without showing “Waiting for IDE to connect to B4i‑Bridge”), you’ll need to rebuild it using an Ad‑Hoc or App Store provisioning profile. You can create one in the IDE under: Tools → Build Server → Create Provisioning Profile

  • Ad‑Hoc profile → for testing on registered devices, runs standalone.
  • App Store profile → for publishing to the App Store.
Once you recompile with the correct profile and install the app again, it will launch normally without requiring the IDE connection.

Thanks for you answer. I"ve build a provisionning profile with adhoc.

I recreate it with ad Hoc again. It's not the good option ?
Best regards

I finally found the reason. The B4I has to be on the same network than the iphone and I'm working remotely.
I still can't install with the mac local server nor on the firm's network, nor in my desk network.
