B4J Question B4j web development

Hi....
I am a long term user of b4a...
So far your b4x support is really really great...
Couple of years ago i tried to build a web application in b4j but gave up it soon as that time i was a vb6 only programmer and did not know about web technology. So i could not understand the basics.
But eventually i learned php, developed small php-mysql-bootstrap responsive web applications and also hosted them.
So again I am thinking to develope web apps in b4j assuming it will definitely be responsive also easier and safer than in php....
But i have a few questions in my mind...will you please clarify?
B4j -
1) In what language b4j is written or based on?
2) is b4j an interpreter or compiled language?
3) will i have to leave source code files there on server as like php or just my compiled aplication file and required runtime files are enough?
4) Does it have some sort of drag and drop controls and form designer as like in native app development?
5) can i develope 'multipage pwa' application with library like bnano?
6) in year 2022, what are future plans for b4j so that i can get support and can i host my commercial web application without any fear of discontinued support or outdated technology problem?
Thanks in advance.

In 2007, I was writing programs for Pocket PC. I was debating whether to use Microsoft's development tools or basic4ppc. In the end, I used Microsoft. But now, Microsoft's tools have disappeared, and basic4ppc has become an almighty b4x!
I am now happily using b4a/b4j/b4r

Thanks for reply. Seeing my experiance also i can understand that b4x team have been providing excellent support and updates. The community member also very very supportive.
But today in this web era, web applications and pwa are more prominent.
I have seen too much posts about b4x native development but not that much about b4j. So i thought b4x is more inclined towards native developement. So in future i just want to be cleared from any b4x authority that b4j and perticularly web development will also get more and more support as like in b4a?
Because if it is so, i can shift from php or js or asp - to b4j.
But thank u so much for you reply.
