B4J Question [B4X] Need a combobox like this.....

I love the MS Access combobox. You can set the number of columns and the width of each and access the value in each column. You can also set the width needed when dropped down.
I need something at least similar to this. Must Be B4X I may build it myself but I thought I would check here first and see if anyone has already done it, or something similar.
I found a couple of different combos but didn't really do it for me. Yes I tried B4XComboBox.

Yes, I was thinking about making a custom control with a textbox, button, and a CLV for the dropdown. I have yet to make a custom control. Can you suggest a good example as a starter for something like this?

Why not combine alsready exists solutions?

  1. Place a label with an arrow
  2. click on this label
  3. open a floating panel
  4. this floating panel has the SD FlexGrid on it
  5. Use the events on the SD FlexGrid to choose an item and close the panel
  6. write it to the label

Here is a tutorial about how to make a custom control.

I plan on combining them. I just want it as a standalone control for re-use
1. As you type in the box it will jump to the first item that fits the bill so need a TB.
4. SD FlexGrid looks a little heavy for my needs.
