Without seeing your layout and code it's almost impossible to give a concrete advice.
It would be better to post a small project showing the problem to get concrete help

code is too large to upload. its based on the B4xDrawer sample code. if anyone in forum has a samsung S10 , maybe they could install it onto their phone and validate that I have the same condition that i show in the screenshots shown.

Try to add this to the manifest editor:

B4X:

AddApplicationText(<meta-data android:name="android.max_aspect"
    android:value="2.1"/>)

Ok made that change and I am waiting for feedback from my friend with Samsung S10. But, i grabbed this screenshot from my phone and even on mine the positioning seems "off" compared to similar app to the right. See attached. Are there any further adjustments I can make?

You are using AppCompat, right? You can increase the action bar height with the designer.

First it is important to understand that this question is not related to B4XDrawer.

I think i have it fixed by adjusting height in the designer. I guess i had assumed that the Toolbar area was of a standard height. That was a bad assumption. Thanks again for all your help.

Outside of AOSP, there is no such thing as standard, which kills me.
