iOS Question BBCodeView - Make Link Click hitbox larger

I use the BBCodeView, where you can display web page links in blue and the user can click on them to open them.

You have to hit the text very precisely in the center to trigger the event, so my question is whether I can make the hitbox larger so that I no longer have to hit the text with my fingertip?

I've just tested it and it doesn't feel too sensitive, anyway the sensitivity isn't configurable. You can make the URL text larger.
