Android Question Best way to implement a video \ image chat group

Hi I want to implement a chat group for both iOS and Android. Users need to be able to post video and images. What would the best way to go about it. I was thinking maybe a blob from MySQL database. Or have the users share p2p. Thoughts?

Store Videos in a database is a very bad idea, images too.

I dont think he is going to store the files themselves in the database but a server link or something like that cuz i cant imagine storing a video inside a database
