Hi everyone,

I've just released my Android software BTinterface on the Google Play Store here:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.btinterface.trial.beta

:sign0025:

Aimed at microcontrollers in general with just a small cheap and very easy to use bluetooth module you get some pretty powerful functionality for controlling your doohickeys

You can also use it without a microcontroller as you can do some pretty cool things just by sending it a text message :)

Here's a really short video:

A little scary - YouTube

and please have a look at my website:

BTInterface Android Bluetooth controller for Arduino Raspberry Pi PIC and all Microcontrollers. LADDER BASIC C++

Thanks!

ian

Have to pause development, just for a while

Because, well, erm.

a picture paints a thousand words:

Yes, my beloved HD2's digitizer gave up the ghost so I had to take it apart.

I've ordered a bit and it should be here by Friday or Saturday but if that bit doesn't fix it then I'll have to order another bit :)

The good thing is that the HD2 can be totally taken apart so that each individual little bit can be replaced. Although having said that, if it is the digitizer thats at fault I'll probably purchase the digitizer + the LCD screen already assembled as they are not easy to put together (or take apart).

Now, there's just the little matter of putting it back together again....erm.... where did I put that hammer......

;)

Actually there's nothing wrong with it really but you know the old saying:

"If it ain't broke, pull it apart and fix it!"

(not really ay! it is broke).

A new virgin of BTInterface has been released!

This will be Virgin 7

I fixed the bugs and made them cry.

Purely caffeine fueled with the occasional couple' hundred beers this version will let ya use it as a disk drive and it will speak to you if you're lonely.

On the Google Play Store of course because they have no morals, but the Amazon guys don't get it yet, they keep saying:
(prissy princess voice) we keep doing 'discover' find a device then it says it can't connect'

Duh! yeah, and there is also a button when it says that which is called 'Help'

You have to have something on the other end of the Com port dudes!

Advert

Testers wanted for Android apps within Amazon.

This prestigious company is looking for intelligent go-get-it young people to test the apps that are supplied to us on a day-to-day basis.

You Will be motivated

You will NOT look for silly words like 'help'

You will just trash apps that don't work because you are too stupid.

If any of this applies to you then please respond to this advert to be a potential member.
