Can I send progs direct via USB?

OK I am newbie so again this may seem a silly question....forgive me... I am 55 this year and have seen many changes. One of my dilemas has always been what do I program in? The scenes have changed from machine code to Pascal to Basic to C and I have done them all BUT...I don't do it all the time...So I give up! I am not learning yet another language...I have learned that someone who knows the syntax in whatever they program it can beat the hell out of a newbie using the latest and greatest...SO....Can I plug in my Android via USB and send programs that way?

If your device supports USB debugging you can connect to it with a USB device.

Fixed. There was a typo in the previous search term (connet instead of connect).
