Can't download files through webview

i have made an app but i have hit a wall.

when you visit a website and click on a direct download link it should normally start downloading, but when i use webview and click on a download link nothing happens at all, it just sits there like it does not know what to do with that link. if you could help me out it would be a huge help and get me back on track again.

Alright, it will be good to upload your code so that it will be easy to know what is the issue.

I don't have any codes. i'm trying to learn the coding.

You can use OverrideUrl event and then check if the link ends with some known extension (like .zip). If it is you can use HttpUtils to download the file.

Will that enable me to download anything on website url links as I need to download more then one file extension. As all my contents will be on a web server to easly change.

You can use HttpUtils to download any file you like. You will need however to somehow decide which link is a file link and which is a regular one.
