B4R Question Can't select Serial Port on Board Selector

Hi:

My error: (I've installed the last Arduino IDE 1.6.8)

On Arduino IDE --> Arduino/Genuino Uno and COM3 --> Runs fine

On B4R: --> Board Tools Selector --> can select Board, but Serial Port is empty (Refresh doesn't solve this)

Any idea ??

Seems like it fails to get the serial ports from the registry. It will probably won't help but try to run B4R as an administrator and see whether it works.
Are you running it on Windows or in a VM?

I will soon post an update with a possible workaround.

Tested running at administrator and hasn't solved it; otherwise, I run B4R on Windows 8.1 64 bits not VM

Beta #3
No serial ports listed. Arduinos clone where USB chip is chinese CH340/CH341. I try Uno-clone, Nano-clone and Wemos D1 Mini boards.
Genuine Arduino DUE works fine.
Funduino Mega2560 works fine.
And Leonardo-clone where is ATmega32u4 controller works fine.

I have the same problem (Can't select Serial Port on Board Selector). I just loaded the proper software and do not have a Board yet. I was just looking at the code and considering some projects. I am using B4R version 1. Any ideas?

The serial port will only be available when the board is connected.
