Share My Creation Catapult. A physics game like Angry Birds for Android

Cellebrating the 50K downloads reached, I've updated the game to version 3.0, with a new episode and a new aiming system.

So here it is.
After half a year of hard work finally I've released my first game:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ninjagames.catapult

The gameplay is similar to Angry Birds where you have to smash your enemies down with a stone. This one is set in medieval time with eye-catching 2D cartoon graphic.
Knock out all the knights in each level within limited moves to pass the level. The fewer moves you use, the higher the score you will get.
With the money you win you can buy awesome powerups at the shop, like bombs, mega-stones or multi stones.

Here a video of the game in action

My future plans for this one is divide the levels into episodes, or chapters. More graphics, enemies...

I hope you like it:)

Your game is very cool! I installed it for showing me what's possible with b4a, but now I like the game itself! It's fun, really!

Can you give some information about the technology you used (libraries, SDKs, java, ...)?

Yeah, it's made with libGDX as a graphic engine (there's a wrapper for b4a) and Box2D for the physics.
It started as a way to learn libGDX and Box2D and it started growing and growing... and now it's a game!

Ok, massive update with 40 new levels. Game divided in episodes, each one has 40 levels.
Second episode is jungle themed, and more difficult.
Also trying adbuddiz as ad network, let's see how it works...

Congratulations.

You mean the main menu? it's parallax scrolling, wich means layers moving at a diferent speed.

@melonZgz do you want a real great update idea??

what do you say if you start let the knights move? bring more life to the game? add levels where the knights move and you need to knock them down with the stones.
(this is something that will make your game different from angry birds)

good luck :)

Yeah, I've been thinking about how to add more features.
Moving knights would be a nice addition, but maybe too complicated to implement...
I'm thinking about animating some objects, like moving platforms...

A new episode with 40 levels
New aiming system. I've been getting a lot of bad reviews because of the firing system, so I've been working on a completly new system. Try it and tell me what you think about it.
Also some bugfixing here and there, as allways...

Very good @melonZgz. In such a short time 50k installs is awesome.

How many active users do you have? (People that have not uninstall your game)

I have just tried your new update. It is now simpler to shoot. I would recommend you when press and hold the fire button then the arrow goes from bottom to top and disappear but i think when it reach the top it should now go back to the bottom and then again to the top. Dont let it disappear.
Like this the stone will be thrown in the angle when the user release the button.

It sounds good, I'll try it and see. What I've done here is replicate the aiming of UFB, a little game i've been playing a lot last days, and that gave me the idea.

Can I try to guess? About 1/8 - 1/10, then between 5000 and 6250 (3 or 4 months?)

17381 users, total downloads 57501. Ratio is 3/10, not bad at all...

Yes this is not bad at all. And if they play a lot u even may earn few $. Are u using admobs?
This is something I'd like to talk about. The lack of official ad SDK's. We need more monetization tools!
I'm using adbuddiz, mainly because I like the look of their ads and because they have a SDK for b4a, but the fillrate is not good. I have 12K to 15K impressions a day, and the eCMP is around $1 for that, but I'm loosing a lot of impressions with them!
One ad network I'd love to try is Chartboost. It's one of the best networks for games but there's no SDK for b4a!

i tried some ad networks and from my experience adbuddiz where very bad and all others where also +/- the same. the only ad network that made me money was Admob so i recommend you to implement firebase and use admob. you will increase your income a lot!

EDIT: today i use only admob for all my ios and android apps. fill rate 99.99%
