B4J Question difference between debug an releas with special char in Database

Good day,

with my manufacturing application I have a problem. In Debug mode anything is OK.

As soon as I compile the application in releases mode the special characters which I get from a Firebird database load wrongly.The database is as UTF8.The connecting string usesUTF8 to.

Where is the difference between Debug and release mode?

i have an Update.

if i start the program with this command "java -Dfile.encoding=UTF8 -jar name.jar" then everything is ok in release.

Can I include this in the Jar?

This must be set in the command line. You can create a batch file that starts your jar with this property.

I always use UTF8 in my databases and never had this issue. Does it occur when you write the data in a file?
