I have downloaded the new version.
All goes well, but then NORTON checks the B4a.exe file and does not like it.
It is automatically removed.
Que pasa ? I did pay though
Well... if I did that for every download, I would have no need for my Norton subscription.
My PC would be a mess.
Norton did not do that on my 2 previous B4a upgrades...
I had the same problem. Norton claimed it had seen the file fewer than 5 times, and deleted it automatically. I restored it and installed the software with no issues. However, when I ran B4A the first time, Norton popped up again, saying there was suspicious network activity from the program (outbound UDP).
I didn't have either of these problems with previous versions, not sure what to make of it.
I went to Norton/ history/ restore, and all is fine.
It must indeed be due to the: "less than five b4a.exe have been seen amongst our millions of users"
What are those other b4a clients using ? Only 5 of us ?
But then Norton is not logical with itself because when you check the reason (details) why it puts the exe into quarantine,
there is no virus but it reads "Bad reputation.1". With less than 5 installs ? Maybe Norton should be more careful.
