Android Question EditText space after period

How do I suppress the added space when user enters a period/decimal?
This is a bit of a drag when getting a numerical entry.

You should set the input type to decimal (in the designer).

Of course I should have known. BTW this is a great tool and I should be releasing my first app in a couple of weeks.
