I'm sure some of you have seen some of the youtube clips of the ESP32 Camera Module (if not you can check out a few here). The demos are intriguing and open up a world of possibilities. I have a project in mind to use an ESP32 and the Camera module triggered from a PIR sensor and snap a picture and deliver it by WIFI to a central location. Ideally I want this to be (relatively) low powered and potentially work on batteries (hence why I ruled out using an Raspberry PI).
I've ordered a couple of these units to play with from here . As you can see the pricing is really good ($14 US - and of course on ebay they are a bit cheaper).
The github project for a demo of the camera can be found here. I plan on attempting a wrapper once I get a module as B4R support would be amazing.
