B4R Question ESP32 Error

Hey guys, how are you?
First things first, I'm using an ESP=WROOM-32 board
I'm not having success I'm using Version 4.00 on Windows 11 64 bits
I have already used the card in the configurations, Heltec WiFi Kit 32,
ESP32S3 Dev Module Octal (WROOM2),ESP32-WROOM-DA Module,ESP32S3 Dev Module,ESP32 Wrover Kit (all versions) If anyone can help me I would be grateful.
Does anything else work on Arduino???

Hi,
You don't say which version of ESP32 (WROOM32) you are using. If S3 or C3 you might have problems. See https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/t...rors-when-arduino-board-updated-to-v3.161765/.
Even if not using them you may have to keep to Arduino IDE V1 and ESP32 board less than V3. See https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/t...ide-v2-and-esp32-board-v3.162076/#post-994258
I usually use Board Type ESP32 Dev Module. From memory the JTAG and USB CDC on Boot have to be set correctly for the ESP32C3 Dev Module and, probably, for the S3 as well.

It looks like a standard esp32 development module so the 'ESP32 Dev Module' board type will probably work.
It's strange that the Arduino IDE isn't working with it. I presume the board isn't faulty? What is the capacitor for?
What version of the Arduino IDE are you using.
What ESP32 board version is selected in the Arduino IDE?

For any ESP32 classical MCUs i always use 'ESP32 Dev Module' settings with no troubles. Latest Arduino v.2+.
Cap at EN-pin on the ESP32 NodeMCU boards is for fixing error of auto-starting the flashing mode after compilation (to avoid 2 buttons manipulations to go into flashing mode).

But fresh versions of ESP32: S2, S3, C3... with the built-in USB-bridge are with some troubles in B4R, i posted here before.

Today I was successful download the arduina library for esp32 2.0.0
And the board type was "ESP32 Wrover Module", it worked well
