Android Question File Transfer

Hi,
I am a beginner with B4A

I need to be able to collect specific files from a location on a Windows server (via VPN) or a local PC on the same LAN, and i also need to send files from the tablet to the specific location on the windows server. (or localPC)

I have tried the example code here:

and it fails to connect to the local PC.

You took the comment in the Thread into account?

Note that the desktop doesn't open a server. So it can only connect to the device.
