Android Question Fingerprint / Password required for installing app without scanning (Play Protect)

Not sure when this is a thing. Maybe due to the latest update of Google Play Store app.

This is annoying. It creates more steps when debugging app through B4A-bridge.

My old phone fingerprint sensor is not sensitive and always failed to verify my fingerprint.

If I choose Use Password, it stops and shows App not installed.

Any way to disable this setting?

I just turned off Play Protect altogether. In the Play Store app click on the menu icon (top right) and choose Play Protect. Turn it off. No more finger print scanning or passwords to install your B4X apps.
