Android Question fontawesome or Material icons not showing in home Screen Widget

Thanks for the amazing support.

I'm trying to use a fontawesome icon or a Material icon in a button on a Home Screen Widget and it is not showing up, the button shows empty. Is is posiblible to use this fonts?
