Android Question generic directory & config file for Androïd (2024)

Hello all
To create a generic and easy-to-use Android application, I am trying to find out where the easiest directory for users to access is and also in which directory to store the configuration files.
This would be for all Android versions in current use (2024)
Would it be possible to have examples please?
