B4J Question Get connection speed - How?

Has anyone a method to get the connection speed when connected to the internet? I mean a wired LAN connection, not Wlan. If possible in B4J, as I would like to use a RPi. What I need is the upload and download speed in Mbps (like Speedtest.net). I would like to monitor my connection at home, every hour for a peroid of weeks. With Speedtest, I have download speeds of 20 to less than 1 Mbps but am paying for 20!

Just in case someone asks, no I have no server which I could use.

Many thanks.

Do you use any cloud services like Dropbox or Google Drive? If so, you could create a public folder. Once an hour, upload a file to and then download a file from that folder. You can time both operations and use the file sizes and times to get an estimate of your up/down bandwidth.
