Android Question Global high scores

Looking to add global (stored in the cloud) high scores to my 2dPoker game.
I read about the Parse library, MySQL direct connect lib and Erel RDC lib.

So I guess the question is, has anyone done something this? Pitfalls? Looking for something with no money as I plan to give away the game.

Scoreoid is really powerfull, you can make request via http's POST methods and you get json (or xml, you can choose how you want your answer) responses.
