I do not see any Android-Instructions there. But i guess there will be a REST-Api like for the directionsapi.

actually no, but before investing time/money on that, I'm checking technical feasibility

I already use Directions API with no problems, but this seems to be a different beast: it allow to include a customized version of the full blown navigator inside your app
