Hello Community,
I have a follow-up question to:
How does Google Play update apps
from July 2014...
If the app is set to auto update in the Google Play profile, but it is additionally distributed through a 3rd party source (example: I give away copies at a trade show) will Google Play still auto update those installations even though the account holder didn't buy the app through the store?
I am trying to figure out if I need to build in a secondary update method for these exception distributions.
Thank you for any insights.
