Headphone/Bluetooth Audio

Is there a way to determine if

a) a Headphone Cable is plugged

or

b) a Bluetooth Audio Connection is established?

Bluetooth Audio introduces a Delay of roundabout 500ms and my Application needs to compensate that.

Erel, I think there's a way to determine when you plugin headset to the device. Like this app: Hearing Saver

They are most probably listening for a broadcast intent that is sent when the headset is plugged. This feature can be added to PhoneEvents. Still it will not allow you to find the current state of the headset (if the headset was plugged before your application has started).
